Add up the wattage of all devices you want to power (AC units, elevators, lighting, equipment), then multiply by a 1.25 safety factor. Divide by 0.8 (80% load efficiency) to get your required KVA. Our engineers provide free load assessments — contact us and we'll size it precisely for your building.
On-Grid: Connected to the utility grid — you reduce your bill and export surplus. No battery needed. Off-Grid: Completely independent — runs on solar + battery storage alone. Ideal for remote sites. Hybrid: Uses grid, solar, and batteries together — maximizes savings and provides backup during outages. Most Lebanese homes benefit most from hybrid.
For generators used regularly (Lebanon's power situation), we recommend servicing every 250 operating hours or every 3 months — whichever comes first. This includes oil and filter changes, battery inspection, belts, coolant, and a full load test. DEG's preventive maintenance contracts cover unlimited visits with no additional fees.
A synchro panel allows multiple generators to run in parallel — matching voltage, frequency, and phase before connecting them together. If your building uses 2 or more generators, you need a synchro panel to run them safely without damaging equipment or losing power during load transfers. DEG builds and programs all synchro systems in-house.
